USPA women tournament hosted at the Sanfilippo Polo Club in Barrington Hills. This is a private event for fiends and family. Not open to the public.

The NYTS program was established to provide youth players the opportunity to compete with and against their peers in USPA outdoor tournaments. At each qualifier, All-Stars are selected by an appointed committee based on their horsemanship, sportsmanship, playing ability at their current handicap and ability to play as a member of a team. All-Stars are then eligible to be selected to advance to the National Championship. Clubs are encouraged to run NYTS qualifiers in conjunction with unrated youth polo chukkers for beginner and intermediate players.
The NYTS Qualifier itself has been designed for advanced youth players, those capable of holding a minimum of a -1 handicap.

The Barrington Hills Polo Club is pleased to welcome back Robin Sanchez, professional umpire and player, for a polo clinic on June 16-18th! The clinic is free for club members (non-members: fee is $100 for all three days)! There is substantial content off horses so clinic non-riders and new members are especially encouraged to attend! Robin is active on several USPA committees. She is a Certified Horsemanship Association Master Instructor and ACI certifier, an AQHA Professional Horseman, and a Hurlingham Polo Association certified overseas polo instructor. She is a CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor and an ASEP certified sports coach. Robin has also been trained as an EMT and an ImPACT test proctor.
In addition to her efforts with USPA and the sport of polo, Robin is a sustainable agriculture farmer and, quite possibly, the only vegetarian raising beef cattle.

In addition to several tournaments throughout the year, Barrington Hills Polo Club is offering a series of instructional club chukkers days aimed to further develop club members understanding of the game and rules of polo. During such days, John Ryan will umpire and provide instruction/commentary about his calls and offer some insights about strategy. There will not be set teams or score keeping.
